COOKIE POLICY FOR MURPHY TECHNICAL TEXT

Introduction

When you visit my website, www.murphytechnicaltext.dk, data is collected about you, which is used to adapt and improve my content. PERSONAL DATA

General

Personal data is all kinds of data that to a greater or lesser extent is attributable to you. When you use my website, I collect and process an amount of such data. It happens, for example, by normal interactions on the website, such as you filling out my contact form.

I typically collect and process the following types of data: A unique ID and technical data about your computer, tablet or mobile phone, your IP address, geographic location, and what pages you click on (interests) to the extent you give explicit consent and enter data that is processed: Name, telephone number and e-mail, which typically happens in connection with you contacting me via the contact form.

Security

I process your data securely and confidentially following applicable law, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Danish Data Protection Act.

Your data will only be used for the purposes for which they were collected and will be deleted when those purposes are fulfilled or no longer relevant.

I have taken technical and organisational measures against your data being accidentally or illegally deleted, disclosed, lost, impaired or comes to the unauthorised knowledge of third parties, is misused or otherwise processed contrary to the law.

Purpose

Cookies are used on www.murphytechnicaltext.dk to improve your user experience.

  • Measuring user behaviour (Google Analytics) so I can improve the website (Third-party cookie)
  • Optimisation of the user experience on the website (First-party cookies and Session cookies)

Period of storage

I store data for the period permitted by law, and I delete it when it is no longer needed or relevant. The period depends on the nature of the data and the background for storage. Therefore, it is not possible to specify a general time frame for when data is deleted.

Disclosure of data

Data about your use of the website, which advertisements you receive and possibly click on, geographical location, gender and age segment, etc., are disclosed to third parties to the extent that the data is known, and if I use third parties. You can see which third parties these are in the section on “Cookies” below. The data is used for targeted advertising.

I also use several third parties for the storage and processing of data who exclusively process data on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.

Disclosure of personal data such as name and e-mail, etc., will only happen if you give your consent. I only use data processors based in the EU or in countries that can provide your data with adequate protection.

Access and complaints

You have the right to be informed of the personal data I process about you in a standard format (data portability). You may, at any time object to the use of data. You can also withdraw your consent to having data about you processed. If the data processed about you is incorrect, you have the right that it is amended or deleted.
